Out of the depths, we cry to you, O Lord.
Out of our grief ...
out of our pain ...
out of our fear ...
out of our exhaustion ...
we cry to you.
Lord, hear our prayers.

We wait for you, Lord, our souls wait,
and in God's Word, we hope.
We hope for comfort.
We hope for relief.
We hope for peace.
We hope for strength.
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayers.

In you, O Lord, is steadfast love.
In you, we find refuge.
In you, we find all-encompassing grace.
We are grateful, O Lord,
for we know you hear and answer.
