Friends, why do you stand looking up toward heaven?
Come and experience the risen Christ, alive and at work among you! Come, and wait for the promise of the Creator -- the Spirit that hovered over the waters baptizing you by its power. Come, for you have been witnesses ... you are witnesses ... you will be witnesses to the ends of the earth. Come and worship God!

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) Let us confess our sin before God and seek God's mercy. Prayer of Confession Parent God, Forgive us. We have failed to demonstrate our love for you by loving one another. We choose anger over kindness. We choose fear over hospitality. We choose war over peace. Hear our prayers for mercy, O God, and restore a right spirit within us that we might remember that we are your people, and you are our God, and that this may be evident in all we say and do. Assurance of God's Grace When we confess our sin, God, who is faithful and just, will forgive us our sin and remove it as far as the east is from the west, remembering it no more. (Psalm 103:12 and Hebrews 8:12) Hear the Good News: In the name of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven! Thanks be to God! Since God has forgiven us in Christ, let us also forgive one another. The peace of Christ be with you. Please extend the peace of Christ to all whom you encounter this week. 5/17/2022 0 Comments Call to Worship, E6CYou who love God,
come and worship. You who seek peace, come and worship. You who rejoice in Christ's resurrection and ascension to Heaven, come and worship. 5/14/2022 0 Comments Prayers of the People, E5CGlory to you, God!
Blessing and glory and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen! Hear our prayers, O God: for the lonely and the grieving, for the imprisoned and marginalized, for those in pain and those who hunger, for the brave embattled and the terrorized. Help us to demonstrate your love for them in all we say and do. Hear our prayers, O God: for those who stand firm for freedom and those who threaten it, for those who are oppressed and those who are the oppressors, for those who are targeted and for those who do not understand their own hatred, prejudice, and privilege. Help us to demonstrate your justice in all we say and do. Hear our prayers, O God: for we who are them -- whose brokenness is evident and whose contributions to anger and vitriol draw dividing lines, making enemies of friends and foes of family. Transform out hearts. Make us instruments of peace, O God, and teach us true kindness, so that all who seek you may find you in us. 5/12/2022 0 Comments Playlist, E5CThey'll Know We Are Christians By Our Love

Jesus said to them, “... Walk while you have the light, so that the darkness may not overtake you. If you walk in the darkness, you do not know where you are going ...” (John 12:35b) Let us confess the places where we have walked in darkness and seek the Light of God's unconditional love. Prayer of Confession God of Glory, we claim to see you as you are, but instead we see you as we have created you in our minds ... we have tried to remake you into our image instead of submitting to the Holy Spirit that we might be remade into your image. We put conditions on your commandment to love one another, choosing to love only those who look like us and behave like us and worship like us and come from "here." Forgive us, we pray. Transform our hearts, so that the love you pour over us is reflected in all we say and do. Shine your light in and through us, so that you may be recognized in us and glorified. Assurance of God's Grace Jesus said, ... "Because I live, you also will live." John 14:19b Hear the Good News: In the name of Jesus Christ we are forgiven! Thanks be to God! Since God has forgiven us in Christ, let us also forgive one another. The peace of Christ be with you. Please extend the peace of Christ to all whom you encounter this week. 5/10/2022 0 Comments Call to Worship, E5CCome, little children.
Come, and glorify God! Come, and glorify the Son of Man! Come, and be reconciled one to another, so that God's love may be reflected through you to the world. Come, and be reconciled so that God may be glorified. Come, little children. Come, and worship. 5/8/2022 0 Comments Prayers of the People, E4CGoing to the archives for the first time ever:
