All of sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Let us confess our sin and seek God's mercy: Prayer of Confession, OT23B In humility, we bow before the throne of grace seeking mercy. Our priorities are inconsistent with the law of love: We have put wealth before respectability, power before equality, and righteous anger before kindness; We are greedy and abusive in our quest for status and recognition. Forgive us, we pray. Create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us that we might live as children of light in a world where darkness seems to reign. Assurance of God's Grace God is gracious and forgiving, removing our sin as far as the east is from the west, and remembering it no more. In the name of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven! Thanks be to God! Since God has forgiven us in Christ, let us also forgive one another. The peace of Christ be with you. Please extend the peace of Christ to all whom you encounter this day.
