Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out. (Acts 3:19) Let us confess our sin before God and seek God's mercy. Prayer of Confession, L2A Here we are, God, standing in the wilderness of Lent, weighed down by the baggage we insist on carrying with us. We do not want to let go of our comfortable habits no matter how much they entrap us and keep us bound. Repentance means letting go. Repentance means turning around. Repentance means trusting you, relying on you, giving up control over our lives. Forgive us, we pray. Grant us courage to be born anew, to follow the wind of Spirit into a fresh new way of living, to hear your Word and be transformed by it. Assurance of God's Grace If anyone is in Christ, {they are} a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17) In the name of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven. Thanks be to God! Since God has forgiven us in Christ, let us also forgive one another. The peace of Christ be with you. Please extend the peace of Christ to all whom you encounter this day~
