(God said, ) I alone am the one who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins. (Isaiah 43:25) Let us confess our transgressions before the God and seek God's mercy: Prayer of Confession Lord, have mercy on us! We go about our lives, heads hanging down, chins to our chest, eyes on the ground below us instead of looking up and out where you are at work in the world, making things happen, shaking up our lives. We call upon you in moment of despair, and you answer, but we do not proclaim it; instead, we go about our business, hoping moment after moment you will come through for us, hoping you won't leave us at the mercy of those who are watching for us to fail. Take us by the hand, Lord. Lead us step by step down the path of truth. Help us to hold our heads high and to boldly announce our partnership with you, so that all who see will know that you are fair and just. Assurance of God's Grace “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds,” 17 and he adds, “I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.” 18 Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin. (Hebrews 10:16-18) Hear the Good News: In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven! Thanks be to God! Since God has forgiven us in Christ, let us also forgive one another. The peace of Christ be with you. Please extend the peace of Christ to all whom you encounter this week.
