1/12/2022 0 Comments Prayer of Confession, E2CCall to Confession
All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) Therefore, let us confess our sin before God and seek God's mercy. Prayer of Confession Welcoming God, forgive us: our hospitality runs out before the party ends; our compassion toward one another fails the minute we believe that someone is daring to infringe on our personal freedom; our belief in you and your activity in the world is subject to proof. Miracle-maker, transform our stubborn hearts. Turn our egocentricity into love for neighbor, our self-righteousness into humility, our distrust into faith that all who seek to celebrate the wonder of your steadfast love may find it reflected in your people. Assurance of God's Grace Hear the Good News! In Jesus Christ we are forgiven! Then let us approach with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. (Hebrews 10:22) Since God has forgiven us in Christ, let us also forgive one another. The peace of Christ be with you. Please extend the peace of Christ to all whom you encounter this week.
