from our individual concerns
to share our hopes and dreams
and fears together --

to bring our resources of time
and talent and that for which
we exchanged life energy,
that all might benefit

from what we have to give;
that collectively, we become
the answer to the prayers of friends
and strangers alike,

for all are neighbors
and all are members
of the Body of Christ.
