Creator God,
All things that have life and breath
exist because of you.
Your imagination is beyond our capacity to imagine.
Your creativity is beyond our capacity to create.
Your love is beyond our capacity to love.
Be present with us in our limited capacities,
we pray.
Open our eyes to the inspiration 
that grows
and unfolds
and blooms
and dances
and sings
and laughs
and plays 
around us.
Open our hearts to the passion
that is sparked
and ignited
and burning
within us.
Open our minds to the wisdom
that informs
and guides
and exists among
us.
Help us to hear your voice in your self-revelation
through the Word in scripture
and in your magnificent creation,
that we expand our capacity 
to imagine solutions to problems
that plague our world,
to step out in faith and create space for healing
and hope,
and to love your creatures -- great and small --
in every shape and color and species
with hearts that are filled with compassion
and actions that are oriented 
to justice and peace.
