3/5/2025 0 Comments Prayer of Confession, L1CCall to Confession
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who in every respect has been tested[a] as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15) Let us confess our weaknesses before God, and seek God's mercy: Prayer of Confession We have used our privilege to feed our bodies without concern for the cost to our souls. Jesus, Son of God, have mercy on us, for we are sinners. We have traded our allegiance for power and authority without regard for the evil that has bought us. Jesus, Son of God, have mercy on us, for we are sinners. We have tested God who has proven God's self in every way imaginable because we have not trusted God to keep God's promises. Jesus, Son of God, have mercy on us, for we are sinners. Assurance of God's Grace For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God-- 9 not the result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Remember you are dust, and to dust you shall return. Since God has forgiven us in Christ, let us also forgive one another. The peace of Christ be with you. Please extend the peace of Christ to all whom you encounter this week.
