Call to Worship, Palm Sunday, Year A

Come, you who are weary of striving
and ready to release your grasp.
Come, you who long to set aside
the need to prove,
to secure,
to be seen.
Come and receive the mind of Christ--
the One who did not cling to power,
but poured himself out in love.
Come and worship the One
who emptied himself for you,
who entered fully into your humanity,
who meets you even here.
Come with open hands.
Come with willing hearts.
Come,
let us worship God.
