Call to Worship, P+18C

Come, beloved of God, and lay down your burdens.
We come to rest in the presence of the One who carries us through deep waters.
God has done marvelous things, leading us through trial and refining fire.
In Sabbath quiet, we remember God’s faithfulness and breathe in God’s peace.
The Lord has placed our feet on solid ground, holding us in steadfast love.
We come to worship, to give thanks, and to delight in the holy rest of God.
