Come in reverent silence,
you creatures of the world.
Come, and listen to God reveal God's self
through the firmaments,
through the ongoing song of creation
that goes throughout all the earth
and reaches to the ends of the world.

Come in reverent silence,
you citizens of the kin-dom.
Come, and listen to God reveal God's self
through the law -- read and proclaimed --
echoing through the ages
so that all may hear
and be transformed.
