Gather in, you holy priesthood,
you living stones
of God's spiritual house.
Once we were not a people,
but now we are God's people.

Gather in and proclaim the excellence
of Christ who called us out of darkness
and into his marvelous light.
Once we had not received mercy,
but now we have received mercy.

Let us worship the Cornerstone,
chosen and precious,
who anchors this house ...
