and blessed is the one who comes in your name. Hear our prayers for those who faithfully carry out your will, sometimes without understanding why or what meaning is attached to their tasks. Blessed are you, O God, and blessed is the one who comes in your name. Hear our prayers for unnamed strangers who conspire with you unknowingly to fulfill your wishes for the greater good. Blessed are you, O God, and blessed is the one who comes in your name. Hear our prayers for the crowds of people who long for your saving power, for your righteous reign, for justice for the oppressed, and hope for peace Blessed are you, O God, and blessed is the one who comes in your name. Hear our prayers even for those who try to throw their weight around, whose pretentiousness is exhausting, and who attempt to silence those who speak truth to power. Blessed are you, O God, and blessed is the one who comes in your name. Hear our prayers for creation as it shouts your praises in joyful celebration of your love made flesh. Blessed are you, O God, and blessed is the one who comes in your name. With all the glory of the highest heaven, we call upon your name and seek your unending grace.

Hosanna, Loud Hosanna Come, Christians, Join to Sing Prepare the Way, O Zion This is the Day the Lord Has Made Lift Up Your Heads, O Mighty Gates When Morning Gilds the Skies Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee Holy, Holy, Holy Tell Me the Stories of Jesus You, Lord, Are Both Lamb and Shepherd Blest Be the God of Israel Hosanna! Hosanna! A Cheering, Chanting, Dizzy Crowd Call to Confession
We have sinned because we have forsaken the Lord. (1 Samuel 12:10a) Let us confess our sin before God, and seek God's mercy. Prayer of Confession, Palm Sunday, Year C Forgive us, God. We do not take even a moment to honor you, to celebrate your presence in our midst. We do not shout your praises or tell of the wonders we have seen. In fact, we are often among the first to condemn those who do. In your mercy, Lord, forgive our failure to worship you and to lay our very lives at your feet. Lead us ever forward in gratitude and joy to tell the Good News of your mercy. Assurance of God's Grace For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9) In the name of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven! Thanks be to God! Since God has forgiven us in Christ, let us also forgive one another. The peace of Christ be with you. Please extend the peace of Christ to all whom you encounter this week. Blessed is the King
who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest heaven! Shout it, disciples, lest the stones cry out. Lay down your cloaks and worship the king! 4/2/2022 0 Comments Prayers of the People, E5CBe present, Lord,
with hosts and hostesses who express their love with tables groaning under the weight of carefully prepared feasts. Be present, Lord, with gathered friends who express their affection through banter and earnest conversation, and the exchange of ideas. Be present, Lord, with those whose devotion is poured out lavishly from bottles of expensive perfume or selfless labor or unrestrained tears. And be present, Lord, with those whose greed has overtaken their capacity to care for humankind with compassion and love. May each and every one be transformed by the wonder of your grace witnessed in the moments that could not be orchestrated by human hospitality even if we tried. 4/1/2022 0 Comments Playlist, E5C |
